Whaaat? February is almost over? I’m not sure where the month went. Probably because it was a giant Groundhog’s day for me. Which leads me to my first talking point…
LOATHING
SNOW! I know people keep saying this isn’t a normal winter for Connecticut, this is more snow than New England gets. But can I just say I am sick. of. it!! Summer better be fantastical up here. I’m ready to explore, and not have to shovel snow every three days. I’m not sure it will ever melt though.
DEVOURING
Umm guys. Can we just talk about something wonderful that I have discovered? These things.
They are kind of delicious (actually a lot). Yes, not really healthy but I don’t care. They are a heavenly little treat. They also have them with milk chocolate, and several percentages of dark chocolate. I’m a white chocolate kinda gal though and these are my favorite! They have them at target and a couple grocery stores so if you haven’t tried them, you should. In moderation of course and not the entire box in a sitting. (For the record I haven’t done that, but I feel like I could)
READING
The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards. I’ve actually had this book for a few years but just never read it. It was given to me as a gift which I’m not sure why, but unless I specifically asked for the book it’s harder for me to get around to reading them. I think it’s because I have to feel like each book was my own choice. One of my weird quirks I suppose. I’m only about 100 pages in an so far it’s alright, nothing fantastic yet but not bad enough to quit reading.
DOING
Right before finishing this post I was actually ordering a set of prints for the first time this year that were for myself. So often, I spend time ordering and cultivating other’s albums and prints I neglect my own. However, this weekend I bought a photo album which I WILL be filling with prints of our adventure this year! I urge you to do the same. As I always say, what would you do if you woke up tomorrow and every digital photo you had was erased forever. How many prints do you have in your home. Do it for yourself, do it for your children, do it for your grandchildren.
How was YOUR February?
I totally need to not only print some hard copies of photos, but also buy a ton of frames and turn my hallway into a gallery with them! I have been procrastinating this forever…but enough is enough!
I also realized i have about 100 photos from my nephews 2nd birthday that never made it off my camera…he turns 4 this year.
