“ You smiled and oh the spell was cast, and here we are in heaven for you are mine.”
-Etta James
I love these two, and I was so looking forward to their Aria wedding, located in Prospect CT. I shot their engagement session back in January right after all the snow hit (which you can see here). They were so fun and in love and STYLISH I knew that their wedding would be a gorgeous affair. They have great taste, and Aria was the perfect venue for them. Gold and pink accents decorated the day inside and out. Just the right amount of sparkle an softness. Alexis looked AMAZING in a gown that looked like it was made for her to wear, and her girls looked beautiful in soft pink chiffon, floor length gowns. The guys all looked great in charcoal tuxedos.
Mama nature had some plans that it needed to rain right before Alexis walked down the aisle. I think that means extra good luck for their marriage? So we moved everything inside and their ceremony was performed in the ballroom. Luckily, it was just a quick passing shower and we were able to take some beautiful shots of them, their families, and their bridal party outside. Their reception was full of dancing, and singing (by the bride!), and you could feel how joyful everyone was for these two – which is evident in their photos.
Doesn’t Alexis look STUNNING??!
Their outdoor ceremony space was also beautiful, we were able to utilize that for photos.
Married!
I wanted something similar to a photo I took at their engagement session, and the light on the left let me do that!
These two choreographed their first dance, it had spins, dips, lifts, and I think there may have even been a dirty dancing lift!
Alexis & Wojciech, your day was so lovely and I know your marriage will be the same. You two are so well matched, I wish you all the joy in the world. Congrats!
