I met up with David & Kendal in Westerly for their Wilcox Park sweetheart session. I love Westerly, but I had actually never shot there before. It’s a really great spot to visit because it has the river running through town and then a bunch of small shops and restaurants, with a pretty park in the middle. Add in some beautiful old architecture too. We walked through town and then spent some time in the park which was just starting to get some fall colors. We seriously had the most perfect day too which lit up the trees and gave us pretty light.

I was able to relate to them a bit as they are currently in a long distance relationship. David lives in Massachusetts and Kendal lives on Long Island, while she’s finishing up school to be a teacher. It’s hard to be away from the person you love, so I’m glad I got to share some of their time together with them. These two were also SO natural in front of the camera. Most of these images I feel like are just them being cute and themselves with me having to do hardly any work. It was obvious how in love they are, if you look at their faces, especially when they are looking at each other. I sincerely hope to have these two grace my camera again in the future. And that they can live in the same city soon 😉
