The first time I saw this family, was actually on my friend Sarah Elle‘s blog. She took some really beautiful maternity photos of Courtney and her family. Courtney then contacted me about possibly doing her newborn photos. I of course am always excited to meet new friends and document their life for them, however Sarah also told me how awesome they were which made me a little more excited. Usually, unless you are friends with your client already, it’s kind of like a blind date. This seemed more like a set up (in a good way haha).
When I arrived at their home, I met 4 beautiful kids. 3 girls, and 1 brand new baby boy. All of the girls immediately wanted their photos taken, and weren’t shy about it. Kids don’t always want to cooperate for a camera, so when you find some who do.. you kind of do a little happy dance. Connor was about a week and a half old, and while he was awake for almost the whole time I was there, he didn’t really even cry! The session went so well and I got so many great images of this family. Courtney and Christopher, you have a beautiful family!
