I met Michael and Meagan back in October when we had a meeting about me shooting their wedding. I’m always nervous when I meet potential clients, a little bit because it’s nerve-wracking to put yourself out there as an artist and say “here’s a big very personal thing I created.. judge away”. But more so because I’m a shy person until I get to know someone. Sometimes it may not seem like it, as some of my jobs over the years have made me get over it.. but on the inside I usually feel like vomiting. Needless to say, I really liked them off the bat. They were very genuine and I liked the type of relationship they have. So I was very excited when they asked me to shoot their big day!
After looking at some locations we changed locations and decided to shoot at the Adam Thoroughgood House in Virginia Beach. I had been there just a visitor previously, but never as a photographer. Even in the winter time, AND part of the property under some kind of construction it was still quite green and pretty. The weather on Saturday was also pretty perfect. They were quite natural in front of the camera and we had a great time. I love how their love came across in these images! They also brought along little details and props to include which is nice that they made the shoot their own. Michael and Meagan, I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in May! 🙂
I love their frame that has the day they met, the day he proposed, and their wedding day! Also the M detail as that is the letter of both of their first names, and their last name.
One of my favorites! Meagan is so beautiful!
