Back in February I decided to offer a free session as a giveback and for Valentine’s Day. I decided since it was for Valentine’s Day (and because it’s a big part of what I specialize in) it should be for couples! A bunch of lovely couples entered, however they won! What amazed me at the time was the amount of support they were able to gather up in just one day. They entered like the day before I was going to announce a winner, and just TOOK OVER. #theycameinlikeawreckingball (haha).
After they won, Maureen became pregnant so we postponed a little bit until her baby bump was showing and turned the session into a couple’s maternity session. Jesse is part of a motorcycle club, which I think is cool because I watch Sons of Anarchy – and yes, I’m aware that it’s pretty much NOTHING like real life – and Maureen is from Canada which I also think is cool. Just because. They wanted to incorporate his motorcycle which I was definitely down with because, I currently have zero photos in my portfolio with motorcycles in them. Does this up my cool factor? Just kidding, I know it doesn’t lol.
We started at Bayville Farms Park because as cool as it would look to have his motorcycle out in the marshes, it’s probably not allowed and it would have probably been pretty tough to get it in and out. We then headed over to Pleasure House Point which I love because it’s so quiet and you really feel like you are out in nature even though on just the other side of the trees is a neighborhood. Plus it’s gorgeous. Their session was great, they were both very natural in front of the camera and you can tell they are in love, and love this baby already 🙂 
This next one just might be my favorite!
