Oh man it’s been snowy! Last night we easily got another 6 inches here in Mystic. We definitely didn’t need it, however this weekend was actually sunny! It felt like it was the first time I had seen the sun in months and a few inches of snow actually melted. That was nice as I made the trip out to Colchester for this family’s Connecticut winter lifestyle session!
Connor is a real cutie, and such a happy baby. He’s 4 months old so this technically wasn’t a newborn session, however this is still a great age because they are starting to smile more often and doing things like playing with their toes. He’s the first child for his parents Nathan and Samantha but I don’t think he will be the last. They are a really sweet family and it’s obvious how much this little guy means to them. I had a really great time spending the afternoon with them. Nathan is in the Navy stationed at the sub base in Groton, and Samantha was previously in the Navy as well. So we thank them for their service.
I normally like to get a few shots outside too but it was just too cold and snowy, so you may be seeing this family again in a few months when it’s warmer out!
Those little toes, and that sweet face!
The rocking chair in the shot on the left is actually a family heirloom and there are photos of Samantha in it when she was a baby! I love when families let me know and I can include little pieces of their history and story.
This one might be my favorite. So sweet!
Samantha and Nathan, you guys and Connor are a beautiful little family! Thank you so much for letting me capture part of your story! đŸ™‚
