Jessica & Justin were my first clients I booked after making the move to Connecticut from Virginia Beach. I wasn’t able to do an engagement session with them though, as they live out of state. Guess where they live? Virginia! So ironic! I got to know them a little bit over the phone and email, and I learned that they are a very laid back couple. I love clients that are able to just not stress about the day. It can be really hard not to because hello, it’s kind of a big day. Especially when you are planning something happening several states away and you can’t just run over and check something out! That being said, they chose to have a Waterview wedding in Monroe, CT. I had not been to this venue but it is really beautiful. They seriously got married on a beautiful day. It was sunny, with big puffy clouds, a cool breeze and low humidity. Their ceremony spot overlooked the water and really, it was just perfect. They were surrounded by family and friends and the celebration was lovely!
I loved how emotional Justin’s parents were as Jessica walked down the aisle. You could tell how much they love their son & daughter in law.

In addition to their first dance, Justin surprised Jessica with a second special dance. How cute is that!
