Jessica & Justin were my first clients I booked after making the move to Connecticut from Virginia Beach. I wasn’t able to do an engagement session with them though, as they live out of state. Guess where they live? Virginia! So ironic! I got to know them a little bit over the phone and email, and I learned that they are a very laid back couple. I love clients that are able to just not stress about the day. It can be really hard not to because hello, it’s kind of a big day. Especially when you are planning something happening several states away and you can’t just run over and check something out! That being said, they chose to have a Waterview wedding in Monroe, CT. I had not been to this venue but it is really beautiful. They seriously got married on a beautiful day. It was sunny, with big puffy clouds, a cool breeze and low humidity. Their ceremony spot overlooked the water and really, it was just perfect. They were surrounded by family and friends and the celebration was lovely!
I loved how emotional Justin’s parents were as Jessica walked down the aisle. You could tell how much they love their son & daughter in law.
The image on the right of Justin’s parents watching the ceremony is SO sweet!
We had to take photos here, because it was too beautiful not to, but also because this view is why they chose the location!
In addition to their first dance, Justin surprised Jessica with a second special dance. How cute is that!
Jessica and Justin, I hope your day was everything you hoped for.
I’d also like to thank my second shooter Carolyn! 🙂
