Right before Christmas I was able to shoot an event that was a totally new and FUN experience. There is an amazing dress shop here in Connecticut, The White Dress by the Shore and they offer special appointments called White Carpet appointments. Girls, it’s basically your dream version of wedding dress shopping. Kind of like a cozier version of Say Yes to the Dress, but there are no crazy employees like Monty (he makes me laugh though). The store is closed just for you and your girls, there is champagne, cake, and swag! Plus, they have a photographer – that’s me! – come and document the day for you as well!
When I bought my wedding dress, I didn’t have a whole big thing. I went with one of my bridesmaids and I tried on a few dresses at a consignment shop and happened to find my dress. I think we went on our lunch break from work. I enjoyed my experience so I don’t feel like I missed out, however being a part of Danielle’s – even just as someone watching, it was SO fun. It probably helps that Danielle and her girls were all really great. They were helpful and fun, and didn’t try to push her into things she didn’t want to wear.
Now, I can’t show you all the photos because she found her dress, and oh man she looked stunning in it. Here are some of the others that didn’t make the cut – where she still looks amazing. Danielle, you are going to be a gorgeous bride!!
