So our first date we chose for Suzanne and Tom’s Gouveia Vineyards engagement session we cancelled just before because it was looking really nasty. We called it.. and of course it didn’t really end up being that rainy. Of course. But.. I’m SO glad we did because our rain date weather was amaaazzinngg. It wasn’t too hot or too humid and we had the most beautiful skies for it. The vineyard was pretty busy because it was a Friday evening, but most people were hanging out inside so we pretty much had the grounds to ourselves. Well, us and the geese.

I had never been to Gouveia Vineyards, but Tom and Suzanne go there often and chose it for that reason. I love when couples choose locations like that because they know they good spots, and their favorite spots and the images can end up being more special for my couple. Plus, the grounds are gorgeous. I think it would be hard to take a bad photo there and I can see why these two love this spot so much. I’m guessing the wine is good too, but as I’m not a wine drinker I cannot confirm or deny 😉

I really love these two, they are so relaxed together and seem to be able to make each other smile and laugh so easily. I’m kind of sad I won’t see them until NEXT August when they get married at Saint Clements Castle! But for now, can we all just swoon over these?
