May has been an awesome month. Weather wise, it’s been really beautiful. We have had a few friends come visit us, and it’s just been a fun time.
WANTING
Ceiling fans. Now that it’s a little warmer out, which I am not at all complaining, I’m missing our ceiling fans from our Virginia Beach house. Maybe it’s because the house we are renting is a bit older (I think it was built in the 40s or 50s) but there is no air conditioning or ceiling fans. I haven’t really seen them in any of the houses I’ve been in up here though. Is this just not a thing in New England? What’s the deal?
VISITING
Last weekend one of my best friends and her family came to visit. Yay! She has 4 littles, so it gave me an excuse to visit the Aquarium here in Mystic which has Beluga whales! I was a little excited. It was SOO busy because it was a holiday weekend but we still had fun and I got to see those gorgeous white whales. Not going to lie, I kind of wanted a stuffed animal of them lol. Who else loves them?
LEARNING
Also starting about 2 weeks ago, one of my favorite learning places online – Creativelive, has been airing a class everyday with a great photographer Jasmine Star. Some of the information hasn’t been really been new because I’ve been in this journey awhile, but it’s been a great refresher. However there have also been some classes that have been amazing and felt like they were taught just for me! For all my creative professionals, writers, designers, etc. If you don’t know about CL, check it out!!
PLANNING
I think June is going to be a big and great month for me and business here in Connecticut so stay tuned for some of the things I have planned. I’m also running a couples contest right now for about another week and a half so if you live in New England and haven’t entered.. get on it!
