Even though I’m Navy spouse, I don’t spend too much time hanging out at other branches bases. Weird right? 🙂 I have spent a fair amount of time on multiple Navy bases so I thought I knew what to expect for this Coast Guard Academy wedding. I was totally wrong. Maybe I need to spend some time at the Naval Academy because this one was beautiful. The chapel was big and full of light, and decorations made by family of the couple. The day was gorgeous, and the sun was just peeking out all day at times from behind clouds until it came time for sunset. The groom wore his uniform, the bride looked amazing in probably one of the prettiest gowns I’ve seen, and there was a sword arch guys. I’m so glad Julia (Julia Jane Studios) asked me to second shoot this with her. This couple was so in love, and it was so evident in how joyful Jess was and how lovingly Andrew looked at his bride. It made our job easy and fun.

This kid was too cute, and zero percent interested in the wedding ceremony.

After the wedding the bridal party headed over to Mystic Seaport on a trolley. We then went out into the Seaport for some photos. There are SO many cute spots in there to take unique looking photos. For anyone who loves nautical things, this is your jam. The reception was at the fabulous Latitude 41, and the couple had 2 choreographed first dances. Whaaat? It was great, and I know that these two are really perfect for each other. Congrats guys!
