I loved this wedding! For several reasons. I love all weddings that I shoot, but this one – I happen to know the bride. I met Cheryl in 2010, she was one of my first friends I made on my own in Virginia Beach. Ironically, Cheryl had just moved back after a move to Arizona (where I had just moved here from). I only met Brian at one of our meetings a few weeks before the wedding, but I could tell right away that they were both great together and that he was going to be a fun one.
Their wedding was over Labor Day weekend, in the bride’s parents home/backyard. Brian is in the Navy so the colors were red, white and blue and the theme was nautically inspired. As a fellow military spouse.. I was in love!
I’m SO glad that I got to be a part of their day. Their love is sweet, and I can’t wait to see their family grow and expand in the coming year! CONGRATS you two!!
