Maybe it’s because I was born there, but Seattle is always calling to me. I love most things about Washington state – traffic on I5 NOT being one of them haha. But all the greenery, waterfalls, ferries, and culture of the Pacific Northwest (aka #upperleftusa) are right up my alley. So I guess I’m lucky that I have family there that gives me a reason to visit often.
This trip was no exception, except this was Zack’s first visit (and probably my 20th time). My grandma has 10 acres, so there is often wildlife on it (deer, bunnies), and most of her “neighbors” have some sort of animals – cows, sheep, horses, etc. We went to some waterfalls in Bellingham, and the beach at Camano Island. Went to the public market, Red Hook brewery, Chateau St. Michelle winery, and Seattle Center. We also did some hanging out at my grandma’s where I got to photograph a crazy gorgeous sunset, a foggy morning in the pastures, and of course we loved on her dogs.
If you are interested in owning a beautiful Labrador Retriever, my grandma is the owner/breeder or Harbortop Labradors. There is soo much stuff to do in Washington, and we didn’t get to do some of the things we had planned so I guess it will have to wait until next time! 🙂
Gorgeous!!!
