Zach contacted me a few weeks ago and told me he was going to propose to his girlfriend and was interested in me coming to document it for them. He wanted a Bluff Point proposal at sunset. I’m pretty sure the job meant for me as Bluff Point is one of my favorite spots near our house to go hike. Plus, I mean anything at sunset is pretty! Zach had thought of everything, he had worked out every detail, even including Lindsey’s mom to make sure the day went perfectly. They made sure Lindsey got the perfect manicure and he had chosen a second date as a potential rain date. I was impressed!

The day came and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a little chilly, but the sun was out so it didn’t feel terribly cold. I hiked out to the beach near the bluffs (as I refer to it – the beach with the shells) and waited for them. Meanwhile, God and Mother Nature were having a nice little date themselves and making a FANTASTIC sunset. It seriously was perfect. He proposed and she said yes! She was totally surprised, and you could tell. After the proposal we had a little mini session and man are these two so cute. It’s obvious how in love they are, and I’m so happy for them. Getting to be a part of little pieces of stories like this really remind me how lucky I am, and how much I love my job.
