Most people who have outdoor weddings wish for gorgeous sunny days when their day arrives. Why wouldn’t they? Well, I’m not saying I wish for rain, I don’t. However, cloudy days can be just as beautiful. And foggy days, well they might be my favorite. Which Steph & Dylan’s Bloom Meadows wedding was exactly that. A crisp foggy fall day. It brought out the colors in the leaves which were starting to change, and also all the colors the bridal party was wearing.
I knew these two were going to have a gorgeous day regardless. I met Stephanie when she was buying her gown (read about that HERE) so I already knew she was going to be stunning. The two of them were absolutely adorable together at their engagement session (see those bad boys HERE) so photos of the two of them would be a breeze. We did a first look, which they were both so excited and a little nervous I think beforehand, but after you could tell how much happier and relaxed they were. So add in just all the the beautiful details, gorgeous venue, the weather, and how fun and wonderful their friends and family are? All of that adds up to a hard to beat combination. There was lots of snuggling, hot cider, dancing and laughing. I don’t think you could ask for a better wedding day.

Sometimes you plan for sunset portraits and mama nature plans otherwise. So, you get snuggly fall photos in the forest instead. I’d say it’s a win.
I would just like to say, ladies go after the bouquet like this. She did not even spill her beer. #determined
Steph & Dylan, your day was so beautiful and fun. I loved every second and I’m so grateful you chose me to document your love story because it’s definitely one for the books.
