“As long as I shall live I’ll hold you dear, and I will reminisce of our love all through the years, from now until forever”
-Mariah Carey
So this North Phoenix engagement session is super special to me. I have known Kelly for a really long time. 10 years ago we were roommates in our humble abode we affectionately called Club 2007. Living with someone you REALLY get to know them. I think it can definitely destroy a friendship, or it can make you a lot closer. Luckily with us it turned out to be the latter. There are a lot of things, probably incredibly embarrassing things I could tell you about my friendship with Kelly. I think I’ll just leave it with the fact that we had (have?) alter egos. If you couldn’t already tell, we’re pretty cool and I love her dearly.
All that being said, when Kelly told me that she and Sean got engaged I was obviously excited. Living on the other side of the country hasn’t afforded me the luxury of getting to know Sean very well, but from what I know I like him. Really what else did I need to know besides they make each other happy though? Not much. So we trekked out into the desert for a little hike and photos. In case you were wondering, this was right after Thanksgiving and I think the high was around 88 that day. It was a confusing week for my body haha. As you can see we were also rewarded with a BEAUTIFUL sunset, with hot air balloons floating around as well. Plus, these two were so natural and adorable in front of the camera. I’d call it a win.
Oh my heart eyes, so gorgeous.
Kelly & Sean also have the cutest little son Kolt that came along and we got a few of them as a family. He wasn’t sure about me, and kept giving me an old man side eye. Good thing for him I love his mom so I didn’t mind too much.
